beverage Wassail 8 cups hot water1 cup sugarjuice of one lemon1 can frozen orange juicewhole cloves (I usually use about 6)cinnamon sticks (I usually use 1)Steep spices in hot water; add remaining ingredients.  Serve hot.This is my mom’s recipe and it has such a great flavor!  Perfect on a cold winter’s night!

beverage Blueberry Shake 1 1/2 scoops protein powder2 T oats1/4 cup plain canned pumpkin1/3 cup blueberries6 ice cubes1/2 cup waterCombine and blend all ingredients together to desired shake consistency.  Yummy!!!  Made it substituting frozen strawberries for the blueberries some mornings – awesome!
beverage Chocolate Mint Crunch 1 scoop protein powderTruvia1/2 tsp. vanilla3/4 cup Multi-grain Cheerios1/2 cup skim milk1 T cocoa1/8 tsp mint extractBlend all together to create smoothie.  NOTE:  cereal can be stirred in for a bit of crunch if desired.  I prefer it all blended together.  Don’t over-do the mint – it is strong!!!!!
